Chris Harkness - Managing Director
Chris Harkness has spent the past thirteen years working in the alternative investment industry in audit and fund administration. Prior to Chris' start with Swiss Fund Services he was a group manager / assistant vice president with JPMorgan Tranaut located in Bermuda. Chris spent five years with JPMorgan Tranaut working firstly as an account manager, administering a large number of complex hedge funds, and then as group manager / assistant vice president of business and IT development. During his time there he also worked on behalf of an Advisory company which managed a Fund of Funds. Prior to that Chris worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers Bermuda. His role at PwC Bermuda was audit senior associate in the Audit Business & Advisory Services sector specialising in the funds industry. He holds a BComm degree in Business from Dalhousie University.
Helen Millington - Chief Operating Officer
Helen Millington has spent the past ten years working in the alternative investment industry in audit and fund administration. Prior to Helen's start with Swiss Fund Services she was a group manager with BISYS Hedge Fund Services (formerly known as Hemisphere Management Limited) located in Bermuda. Helen spent seven and a half years with BISYS working firstly as a senior fund accountant and then as group manager. Helen's responsibilities included managing a team of account managers and senior fund accountants and a diverse portfolio of clients specialising in funds of all sizes, strategies and complexity. Helen gained her accounting qualification in 1988 with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Kent, England before moving to Scotland and working with Kidsons Impey, a top ten U.K. audit and accountancy firm.
Tony Harkness - Director
Tony started his career in accounting and auditing with John Robinson & Company in Newcastle, England in 1962. He went on to join Ridley and Ridley Chartered Accountants of Newcastle, England until April 1970. Tony then spent the next thirty-six years working for Bank of Bermuda Limited. He started his career with the bank in the Internal Audit group and then moved on to become a trust accounting officer. He held various high-level positions in the bank and retired at the end of 2006. He was a Director of Client Relationships in the Private Family Office dealing with high net worth clients and their complex structures. He continues to serve as Director and President of a large number of companies. He has been a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (Florida, U.S.A.) since 1978 and a member of the Institute of Directors (London, England) since 1994.
