Independence is important to investors and is taken very seriously. Trades and pricing data are obtained from third parties, and can be imported directly into our system. This allows for timing and cost efficiency, while reducing the chances of human error.
Elements of portfolio accounting are:
• Automated upload of daily trading activity from your front end trading platform
or prime broker
• Daily reconciliation of cash balances and positions with prime broker(s)
• Independent pricing of the portfolio
• Processing of corporate actions and dividends
• Expense accrual management
• Calculation of management and performance fees according to the fund’s documents
• Production of Net Asset Value calculations
• Web access for investment managers to obtain daily return information and other
performance indicators
